Welcome to the Heart-Focused Wellness Program

This course has been designed to help you establish a new baseline resulting in sustainable perceptual and behavioral changes. It includes tools and techniques that blend increased self-awareness with emotional self-regulation skills, leading to objective and measurable improvements in physiological and behavior functioning. It is a holistic treatment program structured around the HeartMath System of research-based scientifically validated tools, techniques and technology to increase mental and emotional self-regulation. The program also has an energy healing component designed to support your natural ability to heal, balance physical, mental and emotional well-being as well ease acute and chronic conditions.

The heart-focused wellness program is an in-depth 4-part series where you will learn how to transform stress through a set of research-based tools by:

  • Neutralizing and replacing stressful emotions.
  • Regaining vitality by stopping energy drains that deplete health and mental and emotional resilience.
  • Leveraging the ability to think clearly and discern appropriate solution to problems.
  • Unfolding coherent, effective communication skills.
  • Decreasing unseen friction in relationships resulting in time efficiencies and less drain from emotional trauma.

Benefits of using biofeedback technology, heart-focused breathing techniques, and energy healing include:

Our emotions are reflected in our heart rhythm patterns. When we are angry, fearful, anxious or frustrated our heart rhythm patterns can be seen as jagged and disorderly (incoherent). When we experience emotions such as appreciation, gratitude, love and joy our heart rhythm patterns can be seen as smooth, continuous waves (coherent). When we are in a state of coherence, we have mental clarity, creativity and better problem-solving abilities, it’s easier to find solutions and better ways of handling stressful situations.

During our time together you will receive four (75 minute) sessions where you will learn:

  • HeartMath’s definition of stress and how it affects health
  • What it means to be in a coherent state
  • Understand how emotions influence the body’s system through the Depletion to Renewal Plan as well perform baseline assessments using biofeedback technology
  • Learn emotional refocusing, renewal, restructuring, energy saving self regulation, rapid emotional refocusing and heart-to-heart communication strategies
  • Track and monitor your progress using biofeedback technology that includes interactive games and visualizers
  • Receive printed material for all techniques that includes self assessment Personal Practice Plan Logs and convenient at a glance postcards outlining strategies
  • Learn how to use HeartMath’s Inner Balance™ app to display heart rate variability in real time to track and monitor progress
  • Receive energy healing designed to bring overactive (excess) energy states in balance, underactive (deficient) energy states in balance as well remove any blocked or stagnant energy. When our energy flows freely, unhindered, in a balanced fashion, the result is health, happiness, and harmony.

Detailed objectives for each session are outlined as follows:

Session ONE

  • Introduction to the nature of stress and how it impacts the autonomic nervous system (ANS)
  • Concept of heart coherence explained
  • Learn how emotions influence the body’s system through the Depletion to Renewal Plan
  • Perform a baseline assessment using biofeedback technology
  • Assessment of current stress levels using one-minute deep breathing biofeedback technology (in-person sessions only)
  • Learn and practice Heart-Focused Breathing™ and Quick Coherence® Techniques
  • Introduction to the Personal Practice Plan Logs
  • Download and learn how to use the Inner Balance™  app to monitor your progress in between sessions as well when you are done the program

  • Assessment of current stress levels using one-minute deep breathing biofeedback technology
  • Review and practice the Quick Coherence® Technique
  • Learn the Heart Lock-In® Technique
  • Receive an Energy Healing session

Session THREE

  • Review and practice the Heart Lock-In® Technique
  • Learn the Freeze Frame® and Attitude Breathing Techniques
  • Review Inner Balance™ app session results
  • Practice heart coherence using biofeedback technology interactive games and visualizers
